Vets and Staff Support Local Organizations

Amador Valley Veterinary Hospital is a proud member of the Pleasanton, CA Community. We are members of the East Bay Better Business Bureau and have sponsored the Amador Valley High School Sports Program for many years. Our efforts have been recognized by the U.S. Local Business Administration in 2008 when we were voted the "Best of Pleasanton, CA Animal Hospital."

Our hospital and staff are proud to support the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton, a no-kill animal shelter, with quarterly donations. We also offer a special discount for pets from the humane society as part of their "Just Like New" fund. In addition, we offer a special discount for treatment of any school or classroom pet from local schools in the community.

We encourage the adoption of pets from shelters and rescue organizations. Any pet newly adopted from an animal shelter or rescue organization is provided with a free physical examination within the first two weeks of its adoption.
